Made by Sveglio, it’s a rocking lounge chair designed for outdoor use. While it’s technically a chair, it lays you down in an extremely reclined posture, ensuring you’ll be completely relaxed while soaking in the sun under the clear, blue skies.
Named after the Italian word for “flight,” the Sveglio Volo brings a rocking sensation that’s designed to make people lying on the hammock-like surface to feel like they’re floating. It measures 61 x 85 x 35 cm (w x l x h), with a surface area sized to fit up to two people, laying side by side. The geometric, rocking-friendly tensegrity frame ismade from chromium-molybdenum alloy tubes that are CNC-formed and TIG-welded at the outfit’s California studio, with the surface sewn from two layers of Sunbrella fabric, ensuring it can stand up to any elements that the outdoors have to offer. Buyers, of course, can opt for alternative materials, like leather, if they intend for the rocker to be used indoors.
