SHY Ergonomic Herb Knife Is Designed For Both One- And Two-Handed Use

Like many herb choppers, the SHY Ergonomic Herb Knife has a crescent shape that makes it ideal for slicing fresh herbs, garlic, and onions into fine pieces. Unlike most, it comes with a handle that also serves as a blade protector, keeping the knife edge from coming into contact with surfaces that may dull it when not in use.

Designed by Paolo Metaldi for Italian houseware company Viceversa, the knife features two folding handles that cover up the knife edge during storage. To use, simply fold the two handles outwards to reveal the blade and start chopping.

The SHY Ergonomic Herb Knife can be used one-handed by the locking the handles together when they meet in the middle, offering a comfortable grip that should make even lengthy prep jobs feel just a bit faster. Alternatively, you can use two hands, holding one handle on each, giving you the choice to use whichever position suits you best, so you can expedite the cooking preparations. Construction is steel for the blade and ABS for the handle, with two color options (green or yellow) to go well with the rest of the tools in your kitchen. It measures 173 x 25 x 86 mm.
